Bob was taking the time to talk to this young player who really wanted to talk to Bob as well. It was funny because they both were tying to understand the others language and they ended up just smiling at each other.
I think the young player is telling Bob that he is supposed to be out in the field with his team.

We can't wait for you to come and share your experiences with Luke's class when you get back. We are all so proud of you, and we love it when people around school ask us about our yellow ribbons. Luke is doing fine in school, and he knows we are all there to support him.
